Today FM receives 5 star review
My recent Irish Ads for Today FM received a lovely 5 star review on David's reviews today.
I've added a link to the 3 min agency version however the director's cut is still to come.
Here's Jason Stone's review:
You can go through life listening to a radio station without knowing what the presenters actually look like. In this clever ad for Today FM, the Irish radio station reveals its secret - their on-air talent is actually a single, mercurial horse.
The equine DJ can seemingly turn his hoof to anything from current affairs to light-hearted banter. Being 'talent', he does have one diva request - pavlova. It helps fuel his interview methods, much to the chagrin of his stablehand.
The star of the ad is unsurprisingly the horse, but the performances of the radio station staff are perfectly judged as well. Everyone from the producer to the cleaner is in collective awe of the broadcasting stallion and their deadpan accounts to camera are highly entertaining. Having said that, the thing that stays with us most vividly is the thought of Colin lounging in the bath with some "mystical flute" playing in the background.
